Yes, I opened up RGSC and looked at my profile, and it's me there, recognising my pathetic efforts at GTA V. Yes, I have joined Rockstar Games Social Club.
I am getting the same error message, and the game JUST WON'T START. I then purchased GTA IV for PC (disc copy from my local games store).
I purchased GTA V for PC a few weeks ago through Steam, played it, enjoyed it thoroughly, done all the missions, but am not yet 100% complete (I've got some random things to complete apparently).
